MY STORY
1. WHERE I STARTED
"I started playing when I was 7 years old. I started playing all positions on the ice and was successful as a skater in all roles. At age 10 I moved to playing goalie full-time and have not looked back."
2. CHALLENGES I'VE FACED
"Over the years, I have accepted that I will not always be completely at 100% physically and mentally. Therefore, I have learned to give 100% at the percent I am at in the moment. Also learning how to balance where I am at with my personal life and how this is carried out on the ice to ensure I am always giving 100% to the team."
3. WHAT DRIVES ME
"Growth - making progress vs perfecting aspects of my life is what drives me to my full potential through my faith in Christ."
4. WHERE I'M HEADED
"Short Term: Find a college where I can pursue a nursing degree and continue playing hockey. Long Term: Graduate with a nursing degree and become an 'ER' nurse and earn my advanced degree while specializing in mental health."
4. GOOD TO KNOW
"I am a very passionate person who cares about the success of others and their personal journeys on and off the ice."

TESTIMONIALS
“Savannah is a solid goalie that reads the play well. Her high IQ in game situations is rare for athletes her age. Athleticism, strong fundamentals, and the ability to always make first save gives her team chances to win consistently.”
— AJ Bucchino
“Savannah is very driven and has a strong work ethic. She is very detail orientated and once she sets her goals, she creates a plan to attain it. She carries herself with confidence and perseverance and is never afraid to standout. She also carries a strong sense of teamwork and is willing to help others. She is not afraid to stand up for what is right even if many are against her. Savannah will go far and have many successes in her life not just related to hockey.”
— Jacob Ricke - Lead instructor MegaGoaltending
I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Savannah for the past two seasons. Savannah has spent a great deal of time working to become a better goaltender. She has been committed both on and off the ice to continue to improve her skills. On the ice, her understanding of offensive hockey helps her anticipate where the first shot is coming from and increases her ability to direct the rebounds out of harm's way. Off the ice, her improved strength and quickness have assisted in her movement and recovery.
Savannah has become a leader by example. She consistently works hard, demonstrating respect for her teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents. She is a team-first player and has made a conscious effort to make her teammates on the Varsity and JV teams feel welcomed, valuable, and included.
