MY STORY

1. WHERE I STARTED

"I started in mite hockey playing the lowest level of mites as a player, I then moved up to squirts where my first year I made squirt C the lowest team in the program. The next year I was still in squirts but made the B team, the year after that I moved up to peewees and made the peewee B2 team one of the lower teams in peewees. The next year I was still in peewees and made the jump to peewee AA the top team for peewees, then the next 2 years I played bantam A for Farmington in my last 2 years of youth hockey."

2. CHALLENGES I'VE FACED

"I've been cut numerous times, and every single time has made me stronger and more determined. I've learned that adversity isn't something that happens to me—it's something that builds me. Each setback has taught me what I need to work on, and I use that fuel to outwork everyone around me.”

3. WHAT DRIVES ME

"I'm driven by the fact that I want to play for my parents and make them proud and also want to be a part of something bigger than myself like a team or city and be able to represent that."

4. WHERE I'M HEADED

"I want to go as far as I can in hockey and really want to show what I've got. I want to make my senior season successful and play in the state tournament, I want to play in a high league in juniors."

5. GOOD TO KNOW

"I work as hard as I can at everything and I try to give myself the best chance at the outcome that I want, I'm coachable and really have a love for the game and sense to learn the game as well."

TESTIMONIALS

"Chris is a perfect example of perseverance paying off. Despite facing numerous setbacks early in his career, he never gave up and continued to work on his craft. His hybrid style combines the best of both worlds—excellent positioning with quick reactionary saves. What really sets Chris apart is his hockey IQ and ability to read plays before they develop. He's incredibly coachable and his 4.02 GPA shows the same dedication he brings to academics that he brings to hockey. Chris has transformed from someone who was overlooked to a multiple award winner, and I believe his best hockey is still ahead of him."
